Many of you are aware that I recently decided to take up hockey. And if you know me personally, you are very much aware that this particular sport is far outside of my comfort zone. In fact, after a bad experience with ice skating as a kid, I swore I would never put skates on again! My kids, on the other hand, are learning to love the sport!
Unexpectedly, this experience with hockey coming into my life as an adult led to a very powerful life lesson for me as a father. I really wanted to share this story with all of you.
